So yesterday, I was finished mopping. I went to sit the mop against the wall and the mop handle knocked something down. I got surprised by this and lost my balance and fell down. As I fell my right knee twisted and popped. I went to the ER and they said they think I tore my meniscus on my right knee. They gave me a knee brace and told me to make an appointment with an orthopedic specialist. They did say that I can still work on it if I’m good with hobbling around at work. This is the third time I’ve hobbled around at work. But, these bills aren’t out here paying themselves. I had strep a few weeks back and missed work cause the doctor took me off. I’m gonna be behind after this next check. I have to work to make it up the check after check.
Just feels like lately I can’t win for losing. I keep getting hurt or sick. I’m not getting any younger. I have to stop getting hurt so much. I’m a worker, so unless I wanna be in a wheelchair, I need to be more careful.
