Funny Subway Interactions

I have worked for Subway for over 8 years. There have been many Karen-type situations, and they are often funny.

On my first day, the first customer I served was ordering a cold cut. I asked him if he wanted it toasted, which I now ask all the time. His response was, “It’s called a f*king cold cut, what do you think?”

Before I say anything, my manager jumped in. She said, “I think she’s supposed to ask that question to every person who walks through that door. You will talk to my employee with respect, or you can leave.”

I was shocked! When you go to Subway, what do you expect? We are there to take your instructions, not read your mind!
